About ME
I’m Leeson Wells. I’m a Chicago based multimedia designer focused on graphic design, 3D animation, and video production. I graduated from DePaul University magna cum laude with a degree in communications and digital media. I create visuals that don’t just look good, but actually feel intentional, whether it’s for music, social content, or full brand identity.
I started out working on both music and visuals at the same time, which shaped how I approach design now. Instead of treating everything separately, I think about how visuals, motion, and sound all connect. That’s what pushed me into 3D animation and video editing — building out full experiences instead of just static designs.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked freelance with clients to develop 3D animations, edit video content, and design graphics for digital platforms. A big part of my process is making sure everything aligns with the artist or brand’s identity — not just making something cool, but making something that actually fits. I’ve handled projects from concept to final delivery, managing deadlines, collaborating with creatives, and adapting quickly when things shift.
Outside of creative work, I’ve spent time in roles that built my communication and problem-solving skills. Working in classrooms, supporting students, and handling fast-paced environments where you have to think on your feet. That experience translates directly into how I work with clients: clear communication, reliability, and being able to execute without needing constant direction.
My style leans toward clean, bold visuals with a focus on lighting, composition, and tone. I pay attention to details, but I also make sure everything has a purpose.
I’m always looking to work with artists, brands, and teams that want to build something with a strong visual identity.
